Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik (MUHS) offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with various specializations at the Postgraduate level in the field of Dentistry. Admission to Ph.D. courses at MUHS is done based on the rank obtained in MUHS-PET (Ph.D. Entrance Test). The MUHS-PET 2015 admitted 3 scholars to the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at Government Dental College and Hospital (GDC & H), Nagpur. In MUHS-PET 2020, 12 scholars joined PhD at GDC & H, Nagpur in 4 branches, namely, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics (3 scholars), Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (3 scholars), Periodontology (3 scholars), Oral Pathology and Microbiology (3 scholars).
