GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL

It is good to air a grievance rather than to keep it bottled up. Protection of human right is essential for all round development of an individual’s personality. The Grievance Redressal Cell aims to look into the complaints lodged by any student and redress it as per requirement. The students can state their grievance regarding any academic and non- academic matter within the campus through the online and in writing. The institution aims at solving the grievances of the students within a reasonable time period for further strengthening the bond of the students with the institution by providing them with all kind of facilities to their satisfaction.

Aim: To meet timely redress of grievances and concerns by learners as and when they arise.

Objectives:

  • To support, those students who have been deprived of the services offered by the institute, for which he/she is entitled.
  • To make officials of the college responsive, accountable and courteous in dealing with the students.
  • To ensure effective solution to the students’ grievances with an impartial and fair approach.
  • To enlighten the students on their duties and responsibilities to access benefits due under the policies.
  • Encouraging the students to express their grievances/ problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.
  • Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in and outside the institution. Any violation of ragging and disciplinary rules should be urgently brought to the notice of the Dean.

Grievance Redressal Cell of GDCH Nagpur:

Functioning:

  • Redressal of students’ grievances to solve their academic and administrative problems.
  • The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students.
  • The cell formally will review all cases and will prepare statistical reports about the number of cases received.
  • The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.

Procedure to lodge a complaint:

  • The students may feel free to put up a grievance in writing.
  • The Grievance Cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents.
  • The Grievance Cell will assure that the grievance has been properly solved in a stipulated time limit provided by the cell.
