Event Govt dental college and hospital Nagpur Govt dental college and hospital Nagpurcelebrated the graduation ceremony in the premises of govt dental college on 3rd December 2022 in the presence of Dean Dr Datarkar along with the chief guest Vaidya Jain Deopujari ( chairperson,NCISM ) and Guest Of Honour Dr Sanjeev Chaudhary ( chief Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon ), Vice Dean Dr Wasundhara Bhad and Dr Mangesh Phadnaik,UG Incharge Dr Suryakant Deogade, Intern Incharge Dr Sadhana Raina And All Heads Of Department And Faculty Members.The program started with the lightening of lamp.The whole gathering was addressed by the UG incharge Dr Deogade, Intern Incharge Dr Sadhana Raina ma’am, Dean Dr Abhay Datarkar,Chief Guest Vaidya Jain Deopujari And Guest Of Honour Dr Sanjeev Chaudhary.The program provided the opportunity to the parents to express their views Two of All the parents shared their views on this auspicious occasion.The graduation ceremony included the award giving and momento to the graduates.It concluded with vote of thanks by graduates.

In today’s event Dr Jagdish Nainani Sir as subject expert, Dr Kohad Sir, Dr Yeltiwar Sir as guest of honour were present. Dean Dr Abhay Dattarkar Sir, Dr Wasundhara Bhad Ma’am and Dr Mangesh Phadnaik Sir felicitated Dr Nainani Sir, PG students welcome Dr Kohad Sir and Dr Yeltiwar Sir, followed by interactive interdisciplinary case series presentation by post graduate students of Orthodontics dept on Management of Impacted Tooth.HODs, fellow colleagues and PG students from all department were present. Dr J. Nainani Sir, Dr Yeltiwar Sir and Dr Kohad Sir appreciated Dean Sir and his team for the idea of Wall of Fame and recent development in GDCH.

Event Government Dental College and Hospital, Nagpur has launched a new program for interns- "INTERNS CLUB GDCH" The program was inaugurated by Dean Dr Datarkar, in the presence of Vice Dean Dr Wasundhra Bhad ,all Head of the departments ,staff and interns.Interns of GDCH Nagpur presented cases treated by them in their 12 months rotary internship period.Wide range of cases were presented which included Esthetic restoration of pediatrics and adult age group, management of separated instrument during Root canal treatment,Steps in trans alveolar extraction and surgical management of fibroma.Cross sectional questionaire study carried out to assess the difficulties in Root canal treatment was also presented.Miss Faiza and Miss Ekta were judged joint winners of second best paper presentation and Miss Astha was selected as best presenter., lntern incharge Dr Sadhana Raina worked hard to make the program successful.Dr Suchitra Gosavi and Dr Darshan dakshindas were the judges for the program.Miss Shrushti and Miss Damini were the master of ceremony. Dean,Dr Datarkar encouraged all the students to carry out clinical research and also announce that this program will be an annual event and will provide platform to all interns to present their clinical work.

Event दंत महाविद्यालयाच्या राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना विशेष दंत शिबिरामार्फत १५०० लोकांना दंतसेवा रासेयो शासकीय दंतमहाविद्यालय व आर्ट ऑफ लिविंग आश्रम मध्ये विध्यार्थ्यांच्या सर्वांगीण विकास, योग, साधना, अध्यात्मिक विकासासाठी सन्मती करारामार्फत विशेष रेहवासी दंत शिबिरात पूर्ण कालीन दंत तपासणी व उपचार आयोजित केले गेले. यात विदर्भ आश्रमच्या जवळच्या फेटरी, चिंचोली, बोरगाव, येरला व आश्रम मधील सेवकांची निशुल्क तपासणी व उपचार करण्यात आले. यात रासेयो स्वयंसेवकानी मुखदंत रोगांबद्दल गावकरी व विध्यार्थ्यांचे मार्गदर्शन केले. तीन दिवसीय शिबिरात १५०० लोकांनी दंततपासणीला उस्फुर्त प्रतिसाद देत ४०० लोकांचे उपचार केले.आश्रम मार्फत रासेयोच्या स्वयंसेवकांचे योगा, ध्यान साधना, सत्संग घेण्यात आले.

Event National toothbrushing day celebrated by Government Dental College and Hospital Nagpur National tooth brushing day is observed every year on 7th November. On this occasion Department of Public Health Dentistry, Government Dental College and Hospital Nagpur also organised various events to increase awareness about toothbrushing. On 7th November 2022 on occasion of National Toothbrushing Day Department of Public Health Dentistry Lunched “Beyond the toothpaste campaign”. The campaign is launched because now days electronic media is flooded with advertisement of various toothpastes. Such advertisements have masked the importance of toothbrushing and creates a misconception that using toothpaste is enough for maintaining oral hygiene. Through this campaign we would educate public that toothpaste is just the medium it does not matter what kind of toothpaste is used daily as long as it is fluoridated, what is important is correct brushing technique. “Toothpaste can fight only when the Tooth brushing is right.” To mark this event, we have organised oral health awareness lectures followed by oral health check up for around 3000 students of Narayana Vidhaylayam, Chinch Bhuvan Wardha Road Nagpur. All the students were given toothbrushing demonstration, and were made aware about oral hygiene, 5 golden rules of oral hygiene were also told to students. slogan competition was also organised for the students, prizes were also distributed for best slogans. The program was organised under the guidance of Dr. Sachin Khatri Associate Professor and Head Department of Public Health Dentistry. Event was hosted by Dr. Ankit Bapat and Nisha Yadav. Dr. Noopur Kokane assistant professor gave the tooth brushing demonstration to all students. Dr. Santost Chavhan, Dr. Shilpa Warhekar, and Dr. Aniket Dhote, played a vital role in making the program successful. More than 30 students and interns enthusiastically, participated in the event.
