Ltd on 28/04/2022 for the students of Final BDS. They gained insights into processing of Milk and milk products, also students gained knowledge of preserving nutrients in milk & milk products for healthy body.

Event Oral health awareness screening and treatment was conducted by Department of Public Health Dentistry, In association with Police Department Hudkeshwar & Lokmanch Jeshta Nagrik Mandal, Mhalginagar, Oral health awareness screening and treatment was conducted by Department of Public Health Dentistry, Government Dental College and Hospital, Nagpur on 26/04/2022 at Hudkeshwar Nagar Police Station, Nagpur. Dr. Abhay Datarkar sir the chief guest of program, along with Dr. Wasundhara Bhad Ma’am & Dr. Arun Khalikar were falaciated in the program.

Event National Oral Medicine and Radiology day celebration Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Government Dental College and Hospital Nagpur celebrated National Oral Medicine and Radiology day on 21st and 22nd April 2022 under the guidance and support of Hon. Dean Dr. Abhay Datarkar. A slogan compitition was organised on “misuse of antibiotics” for undergraduate students and interns under guidance of Dr. Pawan Motghare on 21st April. On the same day, Patient awareness campaign on “antibiotics-use and abuse” was performed by Dr. Shweta Gangotri. On 22nd April, project based learning sensitisation of undergraduate students and interns was conducted by Head of the department Dr. Ashita Kalaskar. Guest speaker, Dr. Anurag Choudhary delivered a lecture on “Antibiotics -use and misuse”. Best slogan were awarded to Ms. Ankita, Astha and Pranjali. The 2 day National Oral Medicine and Radiology day celebration was a great success and appreciated by all.

Event Dental Health camp was organised by NSS unit of GDCH Nagpur Dental Health camp was organised by NSS unit of GDCH Nagpur and Department of Public Health Dentistry in collaboration with Sunshine Foundation to serve Dental Health for underprivileged kids of age group 6-12 years. Sunshine foundation works for the betterment and successful future of underprivileged children living in urban slums and gives them support in all aspects of development.A total of 120 children were comprehensively checked up through standardized screening chart for ICMR STS research as well as treated for their findings.Director and Founder of NGO Sunshine Foundation Ms. Deepti Karat Thanked Dr. Abhay Datarkar for all the permissions and welcomed NSS incharge Dr. Yogesh Rathod, Dr. Sachin Khatri Head PHD & Dr. Jyoti Wankhede for organizing the camp. Students volunteers from 3rd year including Ms. Nisha Yadav, Ms. Ankita Shewalkar, Mr. Nandakishor Fad, Mr. Faizan Khan, etc. and interns volunteered the camp.
