On this occasion Respected Dean Dr Wasundhara Bhad , Dr Ritesh Kalaskar, Dr Sadhana Raina , Dr Archana Deshpande, Dr Santosh Chauhan, Dr Deepak Ghatge were Present. Students in there traditional attire were proudly and Gracefully presented there cultural heritage of state . It was wonderful to see the students following cultural legacy . These Concept was initiated and supported by Dean Dr Abhay Datakar whose enthusiasm and vision is taking institution to great heights. On this occasion he congratulated the Students for their performance starting from Lavni to Flok dance of Rajasthan, Gujarat , Uttar Pradesh, Bihar , Arunachal Pradesh & specially Nepal ‘s National Anthem Program was Grace by Vice Dean Dr Wasundhara Bhad , Vice Dean Dr Mangesh Phadnaik, Head of Departments Dr Manjusha Waradhpande, Dr Ritesh Kalaskar, Dr Ashita Kalaskar, Other Faculties staff Members The program was conducted by Gauri And vote of thanks was given by Kshitija Dr Shilpa Warhekar , Dr Damyanti Walkey , Dr Noopur Kokane , Chandrashekahra Meena , Dinesh Ghatge ,Ankit Bapat & Team have taken efforts for the success of the program. The Launch of Comprehensive Tobacco Control Programme in which screening, detection and treatment of Oral Cancer Precancer will be carried out. Comprehensive Tobacco Control Programme was launched at the Hands of Hon Shri Devendraji Fadanvis, Deputy Chief Minister, Govt of Maharashtra on 8/9/2022. Under this programme, Oral precancer & cancer Awareness, Screening & Treatment of 33181 school children residing in 207 Govt Adivasi Ashram schools & Hostels will be carried out. This programme will be jointly conducted by ATC Nagpur, Govt Dental College Nagpur, IDA Nagpur branch & Deputy Director of Health Services Nagpur..

Event GOVERNMENT DENTAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL, NAGPUR REPORT Workshop on human trafficking and crime against women and childrenOn the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, MANOMAY 2022, a workshop was organized on human trafficking and crime against women and children in collaboration with Youva Rural Association and Prakruthi under the campaign “YOUNG INDIA UNCHAINED”. The workshop was conducted in the college auditorium on 2nd September. The guest speakers were Ms. Gursimran Kaur and Ms. Deepali. There were around 150 students who attended the workshop.They put forth statistics that were surprising and overwhelming. Topics like human trafficking, rape, kidnapping, child abuse, eve teasing etc. were discussed. The session was interactive and students were able to express their views on the same. The main motto behind the workshop was to form a committee in the institution that can bring about awareness as well as student participation in response to such situations.
