UG ICMR community based research project Dental diagnosis and treatment camp was organised by NSS unit of GDCH Nagpur and department of Public Health dentistry in association with Sunshine Foundation Nagpur for underprivileged kids living in urban slums of nagpur of age group 6-12 years.
Sunshine foundation is a registered NGO serving disadvantaged and underprivileged children living in urban slums of Nagpur city for their better future and give them support in all aspects of development.
This was a follow up and concluding camp ICMR STS study. A total of 90 children were comprehensively checked up through standardised screening chart for ICMR STS research as well as treated for their findings.
Various activities were organised for kids focusing of teaching brushing techniques, Dental hygiene, Healthy diet and maintaining overall hygiene and all children were given certificates for their participation.
Director and Founder Of NGO Ms. Deepti Karat ma’am thanked Dr. Abhay Datarkar Sir for all the permissions. Team Sunshine foundation welcomed NSS incharge Dr. Yogesh Rathod sir, Dr Jyoti Wankhede madam, Dr. Pawan Motghare Sir for the camp. Students volunteers from third year Ms.Nisha Yadav, Ms. Swarali Kuthe, Ms. Anisha Yadav, etc and team of interns volunteered the camp.
