International Student Cell in Government Dental College & Hospital, Nagpur caters to the needs of foreign students from various countries. The Institution has always been welcoming students aspiring for world-class education which we believe is our forte. In our Diverse campus, International Students Enrich Learning Environment with Cultural Perspectives.

The Institution has Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)s with the best Universities, in both teaching and research, through Exchange programmes (Faculty and students) and research collaborations. The requirements of foreign students are met by respective faculty coordinators of the MoUs.

We follow student mentoring schemes, to ensure that international students feel welcomed and familiar with Indian Culture when they arrive, and know that there will be at least one friendly face waiting to greet them.

We work towards promoting the holistic Academic Excellence including the peer committee recommendations, best quality Education, nurturing knowledge, Academic Flexibility, and Exploring the Innovation among the students enrolling from other countries.

  • 1.The international student cell committee is constituted with a purpose to take care of international students during their stay, from the time of admission to completion of their study.
  • 2.To promote cordial student-student and student-teacher Relationship.
  • 3.The committee would work to ensure support and integrate international students in various events of the institution.

 The committee will

  1. 1.Refer to the UGC guidelines for admission of international students periodically.
  2. 2.Keep the details of international students admitted to BDS, MDS courses every year.
  3. 3.Sensitize the newly enrolled international students to the existence, functioning and role of the cell and also share with them the mode of contact in   case of grievance.
  4. 4.Conduct meetings Half yearly in the presence of the student’s representative to cater to their grievances.
  5. 5.Integrate international students into college premises and activities without any obstacles.
  6. 6.Provide the international students with information about the local customs, culture, language, civic facilities etc.

   Currently we have students pursuing their higher education from Bhutan, Nepal and Pakistan. The students get to interact with each other and the     diverse environment serves as an opportunity to broaden the horizons for the exchange of different ideas.
