Dental Health camp was organised by NSS unit of GDCH Nagpur and Department of Public Health Dentistry in collaboration with Sunshine Foundation to serve Dental Health for underprivileged kids of age group 6-12 years. Sunshine foundation works for the betterment and successful future of underprivileged children living in urban slums and gives them support in all aspects of development.
A total of 120 children were comprehensively checked up through standardized screening chart for ICMR STS research as well as treated for their findings.
Director and Founder of NGO Sunshine Foundation Ms. Deepti Karat Thanked Dr. Abhay Datarkar for all the permissions and welcomed NSS incharge Dr. Yogesh Rathod, Dr. Sachin Khatri Head PHD & Dr. Jyoti Wankhede for organizing the camp. Students volunteers from 3rd year including Ms. Nisha Yadav, Ms. Ankita Shewalkar, Mr. Nandakishor Fad, Mr. Faizan Khan, etc. and interns volunteered the camp.
